Friday Faves: The RSR Target Stencil
Targets. Everyone needs them but they get used up in a snap. If only there was a way to make volumes for pennies...
The steel-cut target stencil from RSR Steel lets you churn out your own targets in mass quantities. All you need is spray paint and a surface to paint your target.
The target itself is 10.5" x 10.5."
As for your blank canvas upon which to create your targets, the possibilities are plenty. I've used broken down Amazon boxes, the insides of paper shopping bags, and poster board from the dollar store (2 for $1). I was able to fit four targets on one of those poster boards, for example.
All in all, it takes but seconds to spray paint the targets. For fun, you can use different colors and different backgrounds.
I used black on blue and "Catalina Mist" on black in this photo.
The stencil is only $40 and it ships out quickly. Their customer service is excellent, too, which is always a plus.
I made about a dozen targets in under five minutes, and I love the Andy Warhol look.
How do you make your targets? If you get one of these stencils, snap and post a pic with "Gunterest" tagged in your photos . I'd love to see what combos you come up with!
